LONGRIDGE CYCLE NUMBER 3

Bikes rides through the neighbourhood
Are a very relaxing thing.
Who knew that a task as simple this
Could make your heart feel light and sing?

On a fine Saturday 2nd September and starting at Bull Beck Picnic site, our intrepid cyclists stock up with a pre ride breakfast.

Last time I saw shorts like that Edmund was on "It Ain't Half Hot Mum"!!!

On the cycle path from Bull Beck Picnic Site to Morecambe

Now a well earned rest at Morecambe Pier  Cafe
(Seems to be a bit of a theme going on here!)

Returning by the Lancaster Canal tow path and crossing over
                                                          the Lune Aqueduct.

LUNE AQUEDUCT
The largest all masonry aqueduct in Britain,
designed by John Rennie and opened in 1797
for the Lancaster Canal Navigation.

Another successful cycle ride and thanks go to Richard for organising and Ted for arranging. Any one from Longridge Circle or indeed any Circle or even non Catenian is welcome to join the rides. The next one is scheduled for Saturday 7th October. Further details from Ted or Richard.
