On Saturday 21st May Broughton in Craven brothers, wives and families took part in a Ten-Pin Bowling competition at the Mattrix Bowl in Skipton. The event was organised by Brother Tom Hayes and was enjoyed by all. It made a change from crown green bowling and a lot more '21st century'. Competitions were held for the best team and best individuals.
Individual winners were Anne Nolan and Michael McIlroy. Junior winner was Josh Swarbrick (grandson of Brother President Bernard Swarbrick) and the winning team was Michael McIlroy, Anne and Keith Nolan and Suzie and John Hill.
