| The brothers of Preston & District Circle (144) responded to the request from the headteacher of Holy Family Catholic Primary School, in Ingol (Preston) for financial assistance to fund an educational visit for the pupils in Year 6. The pupils are going to spend three days at Waddecar Scout Camp in July, engaging in various outdoor activities. This is the first time the school has been able to take the pupils on an residential trip. The Catenian Association is an international body of proudly Catholic laymen and permanent deacons who meet at least once a month in local groups called Circles, to enjoy each other's company and thereby strengthen their family life through friendship, faith and fun! It is open to practising Catholic laymen from the age of 18 years. Many of the Circles’ activities involve the members’ wives and families.
