The Catenian Association is an international body of proudly Catholic laymen and permanent deacons who meet at least once a month in local groups called Circles, to enjoy each other's company and thereby strengthen their family life through friendship, faith and fun! It is open to practising Catholic laymen from the age of 18 years. Many of the Circles’ activities involve the members’ wives and families.

Michael delighted to get his 50 year scroll.
Provincial President, Peter Western, was delighted to present a 50 years' scroll to Michael Bowley of Broughton in Craven Circle 212.
Michael is a well loved member of the circle. His working life was spent down south as an architect where he was involved in many large projects. This meant that he met many famous figures including the Queen Mother.
He joined a North London circle in 1968 and was an active member. After retiring he moved to Thornton in Craven in order to be nearer his family. Lately, Michael has moved to Abbeyfield Care Home in Skipton and is a popular member of the community.
Michael joined Broughton in Craven when he moved and has been an active member attending meetings regularly and enjoying functions.
We, as a circle, are very proud of him and are grateful for his example.
This was also brother Peter Western's 'last but one' circle visit of his year. We were delighted to have him with us and thank him for an excellent year.
Circle President, Chris Beesley, who you will see from the picture had dressed up for the occasion, thanked all present for their support during his presidential year and welcomed Brother Michael Limb who will be taking over in April as new President.
