Prior to their
November meeting at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington Circle
held their Annual Mass for Deceased Brothers. The Celebrant was Fr Alfred
Rebello a former member of the Circle.
Following the meeting around sixty people
sat down to dinner.
The dinner was actually a birthday party for Brother Bill
Hargreaves who was 90 that day. Bill is well known in the world of horticulture
both as an exhibitor and a judge.
During the evening Bill was presented with an
orchid by the President’s wife, Dorothy Emmett and a large birthday cake by
Karen Dabrowski.
