Preston & District Circle's Trainspotters' Group chose Liverpool as the venue for the recent outing.
First stop was at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King |
We arrived just as a very 'posh' wedding was about to begin. |
Next it was down 'Hope Street'(!) to the Philharmonic pub for our first drink. |
This was followed by a walk through the city centre to the dock area in search of somewhere to dine. |
Eventually we settled for Guosto's Italian menu.
After a long lunch stop, we visited the Liverpool Maritime Museum (We had to have a bit of 'culture'!)
Following the visit, it was a long walk back to Lime Street railway station calling at two Wetherspoons pubs on the way!
Thanks Mike for another great outing! |
