| Broughton in Craven were delighted to welcome a new brother to the circle at their February meeting on Thursday 5th. Doug Boyd was born in Colne Lancashire. His Mother was Scottish and Father English. Doug is an engineer who has worked for Rolls Royce then EDS which became Hewlett Packard until early retirement in 2013. He is married to Maria and has two sons Thomas who lives in Cincinnati USA and Matthew who lives locally. They have 3 Grandchildren. Doug enjoys Bridge, photography, walking and traveling in his spare time. He is a keep Burnley FC supporter. We are certain that he and Maria will be full and active members and look forward to a long and happy membership. |
The Catenian Association is an international body of proudly Catholic laymen and permanent deacons who meet at least once a month in local groups called Circles, to enjoy each other's company and thereby strengthen their family life through friendship, faith and fun! It is open to practising Catholic laymen from the age of 18 years. Many of the Circles’ activities involve the members’ wives and families.
