Besides the Provincial golf shield being contested there was also the Oswald Goodier trophy for the winning brother from a Preston circle and the John Carr trophy for the best non Preston circle brother. These were won by Andrew Robinson (Preston South) and Steve Hardacre (Longridge) respectively. This was an open competition and the winner of the ‘Clarity Jug’ was Brian Finney for the best placed non Catenian.
