LONGRIDGE CIRCLE ANNUAL QUIZ

After a fiercely fought competition, but in a reasonably friendly atmosphere, the outcome of the 2017 encounter at Longridge Golf Club was decided.

After winning the first two year’s competition the runners up this year were the “DTs” with 60 points, a score which won them last year’s quiz.

The winning team on the night with a magnificent 65 points was “Five Go Quizzing” receiving the coveted Longridge Annual Quiz Trophy and a cash prize of £60.

Thanks go to John Waddingham’s and Anthony Donlan’s teams for donating their winnings for the devilishly difficult “Dingbat” and “Anagram” competitions to the Hubert Wilcock Trust Fund.

A good night was had by all in true Catenian style with good fun, good food and good company. See you all next year!
