| On Sunday 14th December at the 8:30am Mass at St Catherine’s church, Penrith, the North Lancs Catenian President Wilf Gill presented a Bursary fund cheque for £600 to Clare Plasom-Scott.
Clare is going to Zambia for three months and will be living in a community with the Holy Spirit Sisters. She will work assisting them doing teaching, nursing, home care and community care with some of the very poorest people in the diocese of Monze

The Catenian Association is an international body of proudly Catholic laymen and permanent deacons who meet at least once a month in local groups called Circles, to enjoy each other's company and thereby strengthen their family life through friendship, faith and fun! It is open to practising Catholic laymen from the age of 18 years. Many of the Circles’ activities involve the members’ wives and families.
