A New Guard
At the recent meeting of Preston 14 Circle we saw the end of what has been a fantastic year for the outgoing President, Peter Western and the installation of Tony Halliwell as his more than able replacement.
It has been a fantastic year for Peter and his lovely wife, Joan and it was most enjoyable to listen to Peter's comments in the circle meeting making particular reference to the many social events we have enjoyed.
Following the circle meeting we enjoyed a beautiful three course meal, a well crafted speech from Tony, including some jokes that have been recycled and brought into the 21st century and of course the usual novelty charity raffle
